The Poole & District Model Railway Society has been going strong for over 50 years and is based at our clubroom at the Old Boys Motorcycle Workshops Cafe and Bar, 1172-1180 Christchurch Road, Bournemouth BH7 6DY. We are a friendly society and meet on Tuesdays 7:30pm onwards.

We always welcome visitors and new members, so come and visit us to watch, play trains and learn more about model railways whilst enjoying a cup of tea and having a chat!

The Society caters for a wide variety of model railway interests and normally has layouts available in both ‘OO’ and ‘N’ gauges for members to run their own stock, be it British or North American, Analogue or DCC. Two large permanent layouts, one ‘OO’ gauge and one ‘N’ gauge, are currently under construction by our members.

We have a multi gauge test track which is ideal for running in locomotives and rolling stock, including OO/HO, TT and N gauges.
