A Spring Tidy Up

Now the weather is getting better its time to have a bit of a spring clean and we have started with giving the club room a bit of a tidy.

As well as our N Scale and OO layouts which are now taking shape the HOn3 layout, Gruffalo Springs, has been undergoing a lot of work and now has a full backdrop and lighting frame.

Gruffalo Springs will be making its first public appearance at this years show on the 6th of November.  To find out more about the show please go to the exhibitions page.

Alternatively if you would like to see our layouts first hand and think you wold like to be involved please drop us a line via the contacts page.

Information regarding his funeral, on Wednesday the 9th of March, are available upon request from the Committee.

Exciting news for the 2016 Exhibition

We can now confirm that the P&DMRS 2016 annual exhibition will be even bigger this year.  We will be at the same great location but increasing the number of exhibition halls from two to three so we can have more layouts and traders.

We are also bringing it a week forward to the first weekend in November so from everybody at the P&DMRS we hope to see you on Sunday the 6th of November.

P&DMRS’ 2015 Model Railway Exhibition

Our exhibition is now over for another year and it was a great show.   All the layout where wonderful and you can find pictures of them all in the exhibition gallery section here.

As usual we asked our visitors to vote on their favorite layout of the show for the ‘Barry Peacock’ award and this years winner was ‘Red Hook Bay’ built by Mike Carter.  Here is Mike receiving his award from our Vice Chairman Kevin Maitland.
