Thanks to all members who came and helped at a very busy show from the Committee.

Our special thanks go to Jame’s for all his hard work done in the arranging and organisation of the show and our special thanks to the boys at Model Railway Solutions for bringing their fantastic layout Bournemouth West to the Exhibition which also won by a long way best layout at the show.

Also a special thanks to all visitors who made this one of the best attended shows we have ever put on.

So to all those involved goes a big Thank You from the Committee.

Martyn’s funeral will be held at Poole Crematorium on Wednesday the 4th of July at 3.30pm.

No Flowers please but donations welcomed to the Kidney Foundation.

It is with great sadness we have to inform you of the death of Martyn Bailey on the 19th of June 2018.

Martyn was a very valued and respected member of the club and will be greatly missed by all members and visitors alike for the friendliness  help and advice he gave to all.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences go to his family.

A Happy New Year to all our members and visitors to this site, from the Committee.

With the show now over and again a success our thanks go out to James for a lot of hard work which he put into organising  and running it and to all who helped at the weekend with the overall running of the show. A big thanks to all.

The scenery for the new OO layout is progressing well now thanks to several members volunteering their help, it is beginning to take shape. There is still a lot of hard work to go into the project before it will be finished.

If anybody has any digital photos of the signal box at Poole station and would not mind sharing them with us please email them to pdmrs.secretary@yahoo.co.uk . They will only be used to help with the scenery on the new OO layout. Thanks.

The preparations for the 2017 show are progressing very well and at the moment we could be looking at an even better show than we had last year, and that one was great. We will keep you updated as the time draws nearer.
